Donation for an Art Commission

Local artist Raymond Ramos has accepted the commission for this initial anti-Black-Friday event! Now we just need to raise the rest of the funds to make this happen.

We are gathering a fund to commission a piece of art crafted to honor the Helpers.

A wise man once taught me to keep an eye on the helpers.  The ones out there showing up for the hard moments.  We have a lot to be grateful for at Gemini's.  This year we are focusing our gratitude on these special humans.  

Gemini's will match the first $777 on this endeavor.  Funds will be collected until a minimum of $500 is raised from the public for the commission.  The artist this year is Raymond Ramos; the work will be a painting installed in or on Gemini's Eclectic Emporium.

We hope to do this every year going forward; instead of participating a nickel in Black Friday Madness we hope to make a substantial local art buy with energy raised.
