Oregon Grape Root

Cut and Sifted. Oregon grape is an evergreen shrub related to the barberry. It is commonly employed as an alternative to goldenseal, due in part to their similar berberine content.

To prepare as a tea, add 1 tsp. of herb to 8 oz. water in a pot. Cover and simmer for 15-30 minutes, strain and serve immediately.
