Sweet Matcha Powder Organic

Our Frontier Co-op® Sweet Matcha Green Tea Blend offers a unique, rich, vegetal flavor with a lingering sweet aftertaste. It is derived from premium Japanese green tea leaves that have been ground into a fine powder.

Green tea and matcha come from the same plant, but matcha's bolder flavor develops from the growing, harvesting and preparation techniques. Matcha is shade-grown for darker leaves, then plucked, dried, and ground into a powder rather than prepared from dried leaves.

Ingredients: Organic Sugar, Organic Matcha.

Directions

• Whisk 1 tablespoon matcha into 8 ounces steaming water (175° F). Whisk briskly until froth appears.
• To prepare as a latte, use hot milk or milk alternative instead of water.
• For maximum freshness, store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to six months after opening.
